Misunderstandings on 13-ton excavator maintenance in winter

Turning on water too early or not putting the cooling water can cause serious consequences to the 13-ton excavator: splitting the engine block or sudden shrinkage cracks. Before stall, make it in idle running, wait for water temperature dropping to below 60℃, and then turn it off and remove the water. If you remove the cooling water too early, the body of the excavator in the cold air suddenly hitting the higher temperature will produce snap-back and crack. When you remove the water, you should completely discharge the remaining water in the body of 13 ton excavator, in order to avoid its freezing expansion to make the body burst.
 
Random selection of fuel can cause serious consequences: reduction of the life of the engine, and increase of damage probability.
 
The low temperature in winter makes the excavator's engine diesel become illiquid, increases viscosity, sprays powder hardly, causes atomization harmful, and combustion deterioration, resulting in decline in the power performance and economic performance of the diesel engine. Therefore, for 13-ton excavator maintenance in winter, good light diesel oil with low solidifying point and good ignition performance should be chosen. In general, the freezing point of diesel engine should be lower than the minimum current temperature of local season 7-10℃.
 
Starting with flame combustion can cause serious consequences: burning of the digger machine, or light damage to the engine.
 
The air filter cannot be removed, with cotton dipped in diesel fuel ignited to make it to be a firelighter, and put it in the intake pipe to realize the combustion start. So in the process of start, the outside dusty air will not be directly sucked into the cylinder without passing a filter, causing the piston, cylinder and other parts of abnormal wear, resulting in diesel crude damage to the 13-ton excavator machine.
