KAZAKHSTAN PRIME MINISTER RECEIVED SANY’S DELEGATION

Aug 14-18, a delegation led by SANY Group CEO Yi Xiaogang and board director Duan Dawei made a five-day visit to Kazakhstan. Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Hon. Bakhytzhan Abdiruly Sagintayev and other high profile government officials met the delegation.

“SANY is a leading construction machinery manufacturer in China. I hope that SANY could get deeply involved in the economic development of Kazakhstan and the Belt and Road Initiative,” said by Prime Minister Sagintayev.

During the meeting, Yi Xiaogang introduced SANY’s business and expressed SANY’s wish to participate in the machinery manufacture and infrastructure construction in Kazakhstan. “The Astana EXPO has attracted huge attention around the world, which also signifies the remarkable development of Kazakhstan. With the “Bright Road” Initiative moving forward, SANY would embrace more cooperation opportunities in Kazakhstan,” Xi Xiaogang said.

It’s said that in order to solve the weak transport infrastructure, the Kazakhstan government raised the “Bright Road” Initiative in 2014 planning to repair 29,000km road by 2020 and increase the good quality roads up to 78%. Until now, over a half of the major projects have been executed with the strong support from the local government.

On 17, SANY Group sign a memorandum with Aytei Group Company, an association of the largest holding company in Kazakhstan to strengthen cooperation in infrastructure construction and other key projects. The Aytei is a strong engineering construction company engaged in city roads, bridges and railway.
