 Ⅰ. Chairman Zhang Dejiang Hails Sany as "Chinese Symbol"

Sany received glowing remarks from a top Chinese official at recent meetings at Sany offices in Hunan Province. The occasion was an inspection held from August 14 to 16 of the implementation of the Law on the Prevention and Control of Solid Waste Pollution that Zhang Dejiang spoke highly of Sany's achievements in independent brand building, high-end manufacturing and environment & industry-friendly development. He also hailed Sany as a “Chinese Symbol” and wished the company the best. Zhang is a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress. This was his second visit to Sany in 13 years.

Ⅱ. Liang Wen'gen Attends Economic Seminar Hosted by Premier Li Keqiang, Delivers Speech

Top Sany officials attended two recent seminars hosted by Li Keqiang, premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China. Present at the September 27 seminar, where discussion centered on replacement of a business tax with a value-added tax, was Liang Wengen, chairman of Sany Heavy Industry. Chairman Liang delivered a speech on behalf of the construction machinery industry at this event. On August 25, Xiang Wenbo, president of Sany Heavy Industry, attended a similar conference also hosted by Premier Li.

Ⅲ. Sany Heavy Industry Wins Top Award -"Huapu Award" at China Brand Festival as Only Construction Machinery Manufacturer So Awarded

The 11th China Brand Festival in Beijing on August 8 saw Sany Heavy Industry placing among the “Top 25 Exemplary Brands of China” and receiving the “Brand China Huapu Annual Award”, the only construction machinery manufacturer awarded. Presented annually, the "Huapu Award" is the most prestigious award at this event, representing the top Chinese honor for independent brand building.

Ⅳ. Sany Moves into "2017 China Top 500 Enterprises" for 11th Consecutive Year

Sany Group is once more on the list of “2017 China’s Top 500 Enterprises”, issued on September 10 by the China Enterprise Confederation and China Enterprise Directors Assn. This marks the 11th consecutive year Sany has made this list since it was first released in 2006. Among Chinese equipment manufacturers, and with revenues of 63.76 billion yuan, Sany was ranked 234th.

Ⅴ. Sany in Top 100 on "2017 China Top 500 Private Enterprises" for 11th Consecutive Year

The Sany brand remains very highly ranked inside China, according to two prestigious surveys released on August 24 by the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce. In the 2017 list of "China’s Top 500 Private Enterprises", Sany is at number 55, with revenues of 63.75 billion yuan, remaining in the top 100 for the 11th consecutive year. In the list of "China Top 500 Private Manufacturers", Sany garnered the number 25 spot in Hunan Province.

Ⅵ. Sany Tops Five Brand Awareness Lists

Sany holds the top position in five different categories in the 2017 Semiannual Construction Machinery Brand Awareness Rankings survey released in Beijing on July 10, 2017. The categories are excavators, concrete machinery, asphalt batching plants, concrete batching plants and truck mixers. In addition, Sany also headed the list of "Top 10 Construction Machinery Brands for Awareness" for the eighth consecutive year.

Ⅶ. Sany Equipment Supports Largest Super Project Under "B&R" Initiative

Sany's fleet of large machinery and equipment, including excavators, rotary drill rigs, cranes and truck-mounted concrete pumps, at a major railway project in Malaysia attracted wide attention at the project's groundbreaking ceremony. The event on August 9 in Kuantan, the state capital of Pahang and was attended by China State Councilor Wang Yong and Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak. Dubbed the ECRL Project, the completed East Coast Rail Link is expected to cut rail travel time in half between various locations in Malaysia. The general contractor is China Communications Construction Co. It is both the largest overseas Chinese construction project and also the largest construction project under the "Belt and Road" initiative, a series of infrastructure improvements in countries along the old Silk Road linking China with Europe.

Ⅷ. Southeast Asian Reporters Focus on Sany's "B&R" Efforts

The first stop in Hunan Province for a group of senior editors, reporters and senior critics representing various general media outlets from the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia was a visit to Sany offices on September 27 to learn more about Chinese business interests and China's efforts under the "Belt and Road" initiative and report on international industrial cooperation. The visit was by invitation of the Department of Asian Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the International Cooperation Center of the National Development and Reform Commission.

Ⅸ. Sany Heavy Industry Enjoys Comfortable Lead in Excavator Sales in August

With sales of 2,059 units in August 2017 (an increase of more than 100 percent over the previous August), Sany Heavy Industry enjoys a comfortable lead in the domestic excavator market inside China with a market share of 24 percent. According to data released by the China Construction Machinery Assn on September 6, total excavator sales last August by domestic key excavator manufacturers was 8,700 units.

Ⅹ. Sany Gets Orders Worth Nearly 50 Million Yuan on Opening Day of BICES 2017

The Sany presence at the 15th Beijing International Construction Machinery Exhibition & Seminar (BICES 2017) proved to be most rewarding, as the company secured orders totaling nearly 50 million yuan. More than 1,000 exhibitors and delegations from more than 30 countries gathered in Beijing for the annual industrial event which opened on September 20.

Ⅺ. Sany's New Firefighting Products Appear in Beijing,"Global Innovative Products" Attract Attention

Sany showcased its own innovative achievements in the firefighting equipment field to global customers with seven new firefighting products at the 17th International Fire Protection Equipment Technology Conference & Exposition held in Beijing. The event ran from September 5 to 8 and drew 600 manufacturers, suppliers and service providers from across the world. Under the theme of "Innovative and Intelligent Fire Solutions Guard Your Home", Sany appeared at booth OD-11 with its 38m (125 ft) heavy-duty, water-tower type fire truck, which had just rolled off the production line on August 24. The truck is capable of spraying foam and fills a domestic gap in metal fire rescue equipment.
