Sany has successfully signed an oversea order of 600 units with 86 million dollar

On November 15, 2017, a procurement agreement has been signed between Sany Heavy Industry and a Kuwait engineering construction

contractor. With a total turnover of about $86 million, this contractor includes nearly 600 units of different types of sany

products including mobile crane, excavator, rotating drill, etc., which is the largest international orders in the Middle East

market for Sany. Mr. Xiang Wenbo, the President of Sany Heavy Industry, and Mr. Zhou Wanchun, Head of Sany International

Headquarters attended the signing ceremony.

These 600 units of equipment will mainly be used in infrastructure construction projects in Kuwait, which will vigorously boost

the one belt and one road strategy in the Middle East and be a win-win solution for both China and Kuwait.

 

Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam visited Sany and praised Sany as the benchmark for Belt and Road

On May 19, 2017, accompanied by He Baoxiang, Vice Governor of Hunan province, Ethiopia's Prime Minister Hailemariam visited sany

group. Hailemariam spoke highly of sany after his visit, and considered Sany as the benchmark for Belt and Road. Besides,

further cooperation between sany and Ethiopia is also expected in the future.

Hailemariam visited the exhibition center and intelligent production factory of Sany to know the current situation and development

plan of Sany. During the visit, Tang Xiuguo, President of Sany Group, introduced the history, globalization strategy, and future

plan of Sany for Hailemariam.

 

Sany signed one million kilowatt wind resource development agreement with Pakistan.

On May 23, 2017, in Punjab, Pakistan, at the second international seminar on commercial opportunities, sany group and the electric

power development committee of Punjab has officially signed the PPDB memorandum, and the agreement on the cooperation in the

utilization of new energy has been reached by the two parties. Nawaz Sharif, the Chief Minister of Punjab, and Yi Xiaogang, the

Chief Executive and Chief Engineer attended the signing ceremony.

According to the agreement, Sany plans to invest on a wind power project of one million kilowatts in Punjab in five years, and

join hands with Punjab governments to develop local energy resources. Sharif said he welcomed Sany to invest on new energy

projects, such as wind power and solar energy in Punjab, and the local energy department would provide support for the project.

 

The 4,000th excavator rolled off the production line of Sany India.

On April 28, 2017, the No.4000th excavator rolled off the production line of Sany India at Pune industrial park. Xiang Wenbo,

President of Sany Heavy Industry, cut the ribbon and made a speech. The CEO of Sany India Deepak, Executive Director Zhu Dacheng,

and some agents and clients also attended the ceremony.

As the most important part of the Bangladesh-China-India-Myanmar economic corridor in the One Belt And One Road, India has been

considered as the ideal country for the Chinese enterprises to expand overseas markets. Since entering the Indian market in 2002,

Sany has been working in the Indian market for 16 years, and great achievements have been made. The sales revenue of 2016 have

On November 10, 2017, the Sixth China India Forum was held in Bangalore, Sany Heavy Industry won the "China India Model Award". On

November 13, 2017, the CHKD Investment Award was unveiled in Berlin, 13 of more than 2,000 Chinese enterprises in Germany won the

award, and Sany Heavy Industry won the "Special Contribution Award". On December 7, 2017, PR Newswire Summit & New Communications

Awards Presentation Ceremony was held, Sany Group won the "Innovative Communications Award" for the first time.

 

Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister visits Sany, witnesses signing of housing projects worth 10+ billion

On January 11, 2017, Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi led a business delegation to Sany.

Liang Wengen, Chairman of Sany Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. and Tang Xiuguo, President of Sany Group received the delegation. In the

afternoon, witnessed by Zahid and Liang, Sany Construction Industry signed two housing projects with the Malaysian enterprises.

Sany will undertake the construction of some 50,000 houses in Malaysia with a total investment of more than 10 billion.

 

Eastern Malaysia railway project-----the biggest construction projects of One Belt And One Road started and supported by Sany equipment

On August 9, 2017, witnessed by state councilor Mr. Wang Yong and the Malaysian Prime Minister Najib, the opening ceremony of the

Eastern Malaysia railway project by China Communications Construction was held in Kuantan, capital of Pahang in Malaysia. The

project is the largest project under construction by Chinese companies overseas and also the largest construction project under

the One Belt And One Road.

As a leader of China's engineering machinery, a total of 14 Sany large machinery equipment including excavators, rotary drilling

rigs, cranes and concrete pumps have been unveiled at the ceremony. The equipment represents China's engineering equipment to

accept public inspection, and has attracted the attention of all parties as well as local media. It is mentioned in the event that

as the project commenced, sany will further use its advantage on international industrial chain and provide better services for

China Communications Construction.

 

Sany's PC housing industrialization made breakthrough in Saudi Arabia and 5,000 to 50,000 houses will be built

On March 16, 2017, witnessed by Salman, the king of Saudi Arabia, Sany and Alameriah Investment signed the memorandum of

cooperation in the China and Saudi Arabia investment forum. The two sides will build 5,000 to 50,000 residential houses in stages

from 2017, and Tang Xiuguo, President of sany group, signed the contract. In the following afternoon, Alameriah visited sany

Beijing industrial park and made further communication on the upcoming residential housing project.

In the China and Saudi Arabia investment forum held in the afternoon, Saudi sides highlighted the potential investment

On December 16, 2017, the biennial 2017 Indian international construction machinery exhibition (EXCON 2017) was successfully held

in Bangalore, India. During the exhibition, Sany India made a splendid performance with the latest localization results, and sold

more than 200 million RMB products, making it the winner of money-making exhibitor in this exhibition.

Sany Port Machinery dispatches 6 container gantry cranes to Mumbai New Port

On June 26, 2017, 6 electric rubber tyred gantry cranes (ERTG) independently developed by Sany Port Machinery departed for Mumbai

New Port from Sany's terminal. Xiang Wenbo, President of Sany Heavy Industry attended the dispatch ceremony. Apart from the six

units, nine more will be dispatched to Mumbai New Port in the future. Mumbai New Port is India's largest state-owned container

terminal with an annual container handing capacity of some 4.1 million TEUs, accounting for 41 percent of India's annual container

handling capacity. In late 2016, to further improve the efficiency and capacity of container handling, the port sent a bid

invitation to global rubber tyred gantry crane (RTG) suppliers. Eventually Sany Port Machinery stood out of a number of world-

renowned brands to win the bid by its outstanding design, fast delivery and impressive international service capacity.

 

Sany gets largest order from Myanmar

On February 22, 2017, Sany Port Machinery got its largest order from Myanmar. Asia World Group purchased 9 Sany rubber tyred

gantry cranes (RTG) for Asia World Port. The order was reportedly Sany's largest port machinery order from Myanmar and order with

the largest purchase amount.

 

Sany signs JV agreement with LBS

On July 17, 2017, Sany Group signed an MOU on strategic cooperation with Malaysia's LBS Bina Group Berhad (LBS). Witnessed by Wee

Ka Siong, a Minister in the Prime Minister's Department, Tan Sri Lim Hock San, Managing Director of LBS and Tang Xiuguo, President

of Sany signed the MOU. Under the MOU, the two sides will establish a joint venture to promote housing industrialization in

Malaysia. LBS will reportedly invest 30 to 40 billion ringgits (46 to 64 billion yuan) in five years in six affordable housing

projects involving 15,000 suites with a total floor area of some 4.8 million square meters near Kuala Lumpur. The first project is

scheduled to break ground this year and will be constructed by the joint venture in the mode of PC.

 

Sany road machinery boosts Myanmar's economic artery upgrading

In July 2017, the completion ceremony of the upgrading and renovation of Yangon-Mandalay Expressway was held in Naypyidaw, capital

of Myanmar. 9 units of Sany, including rollers, pavers and graders, appeared at the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Myanmar's Minister

for Construction U Win Khaing attended the ceremony. He spoke highly of the expressway constructed by Sany machinery.

With a full length of 540 kilometers, Yangon-Mandalay Expressway is Myanmar's most important economic artery connecting Myanmar's

business center-Yangon, capital-Naypyidaw and second-largest city-Mandalay. Some 100 Sany units have been input into the project.

The owner had full confidence in Sany products and will cooperate with Sany in more projects.

 

Argentine Army equipped with 1st Sany heavy-duty crane

In November 2017, according to the Ministry of Defense of Argentina, the Argentine army has received the first crane (STC-800)

manufactured by Sany Heavy Industry, which is the first of the four Sany cranes ordered by the Argentine military. Commander of

Intelligence Battalion 601 of the Argentine Army received the crane. The Sany STC800 truck crane delivered this time is one of the

innovative products independently developed by Sany Heavy Industry. It features the gray coating style of the Argentine military

in appearance, dynamic U-shaped jib and outstanding performance.

 

Senior officials from 16 Asian, African, Latin American countries visit Sany for advanced experience

On June 13, 2017, senior officials from 16 Asian, African and Latin American countries visited Sany Nankou Industrial Park. They

reportedly visited China to attend the "Seminar on China's Development Experience for Senior Officials from Developing Countries"

organized by the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) in China for the development experience of advanced Chinese enterprises. MOFCOM

arranged the field discussion and high-level discussion in Sany in the hope of making the officials from developing countries

experience the advanced practices of Chinese enterprises more intuitively.
