The inner filter element of the engine in the small diggers usually demands a regular replacement after a certain hours of service time or when it occurs some technical hitches. To guarantee the regular working of the engine and the efficient operation of your small digger, SANY recommends you to follow below instructions to conduct the replacement work:

First of all, you will need to remove the outer filter element and then the inner filter element of the engine. After that, cover both ends of the elements with a piece of clean cloth to prevent dust entering the filter element of the small digger. Then, clean the inside of the air cleaner body, remove the covering cloth and place the new inner filter element onto the connecting side. Once finish that, you can start to reinstall the outer filter element of the small digger by pushing the filter element straight forward into the air cleaner housing, to make the task easier, you may hold and shake it slightly. The last step is to reinstall the cover. Make sure that the arrow mark point is upward and lock the clip. Check the gap between the housing and the cover in case the gap is too excessive.

Please keep in mind that you should never use the inner filter element that has been cleaned. When the outer filter element is replaced, the inner one should be replaced as well.

The improper installation of the inner filter element could damage the outer element and the cover, even if these last two have been well installed. Always be aware that fake parts should never be used on your small digger under any circumstances, because they will allow dirt to pass through and damage the small digger's engine due to insufficient precision in the sealing area.
