SANY excavator machine so popular in Kenya municipal engineering

In Oct 2015, Kenya Ports Authority invested about 3 million USD for the Pension Scheme which was a critical project for Kenyan government. Epco construction company chose SANY’s excavator machine SY230 and was highly satisfied with its flexibility and economy.

During the construction, SANY’s excavator demonstrated its strong power, low fuel consumption, high efficiency and low noise. In addition, the robust machine worked stably and had no failure during the one year construction.

High efficiency

With a dual-pump, dual-circuit constant power control system, the engine power can be used more efficiently. This perfect combination produces higher operating efficiency with lower fuel consumption by selecting heavy duty mode under high workload, or standard or light duty mode with automatic engine speed regulation.

The excavator machine boasts faster working speed with swing speed reaching 11rpm, high power engine of 128.5kw/2100rpm, larger workload with bucket capacity 1.2m3 and larger digging force with 175kN for bucket and 122kN for arm.

High reliability

SANY’s excavator machine is equipped with reinforced plates, welded on the two main beam of swing platform,considerably improve the bending resistance performance.

Track rollers, carrier rollers and idlers use seal-in lubrication that gives a longer service life. The tri-grouser track shoe rolled with high-strength alloy provides favorable contact, stability and durability. The track links have additional reinforced ribs to increase their strength, which can absorb the shock when the excavator machine travels on rough surface.
