Numbers for SANY excavators

According to the statistics released by Chinese Construction Machinery Association, 14530 excavators have been sold in domestic market in February, a year-on-year growth of 297.65 percent, far exceeding market expectations.

SANY has sold 3600 excavators in February, hitting the highest record of its February’s sales volume in history, rising more than 360 percent from a year earlier. “Since increased demands for the infrastructure construction, the excavator market is expected to keep flourishing,” an industry professional said.

Last year, SANY has sold 13000 excavators, which was the only enterprise of construction machinery industry selling more than 10000 excavators in 2016. In this January, SANY sold more than 1000 excavators, a year-on-year growth of 72 percent, among which SY75C excavator was on SANY’s best-seller list.

What drive the climbing sales volume?

The most important driver is the demands of infrastructure construction, including mega projects, mine excavation and rural construction. SANY excavators sold for infrastructure construction has risen to more than 70 percent.

The renewal for equipment

The life circle of excavator is around 6 to 10 years based on the different working conditions. At present, nearly two-thirds of equipment in stock should be renewed, which also contributes to the growth of SANY excavators’ sales.
