SANY's 200 excavators help after historic Southern China flood

When the catastrophic floods hit Southern China in this summer, the devastation was tremendous. The flooding damaged more than 1,000 counties in Hubei, Anhui, Hunan, Jiangsu, and Jiangxi province, which touched many SANY dealers and employees. That didn’t stop SANY people from jumping into action to help not just its own people, but also the provinces it service.

SANY made it a priority and mobilized more than 200 excavators, 600 service engineers, volunteering dealers and customers to join in the flood relief efforts, making sure everyone was accounted for and determine what assistance we could provide.

The floor stricken areas have suffered serious damage to local farmland, roads, houses, and dams. SANY excavators including converted high reach excavators played a key role in the time-sensitive rescue, and were widely used to clear roads and barrier lakes, rebuild dams, and assist with post-disaster building.

In some areas of Hunan province, the water level raised so sharply that the river bank was on the edge of collapsing. Large space of crops had been drown. The large-sized excavators of SANY were employed in time in the landslide relief, and after two hours, the injury was saved and the dam was finally completed. The danger was controlled finally.
