China's CCTV tells you why SANY excavators are popular in market

The excavators' sales see a giant leap in the first half year of 2017. Excavator index even becomes a sign to show the economic momentum. According to China Construction Machinery Association, in the first half year of 2017, excavators have been sold 70821 units by 26 domestic construction machinery enterprises, a year-on-year growth of 110.3 percent, exceeding the whole sales volume of 2016.

As the leading enterprise in construction machinery industry, SANY’s excavators sales in May was up to 2160 units, a year-on-year growth of 120 percent, topping the domestic market.

With the implementation of the 13th Five-Year Plan (2016-2020) and the PPP projects, the infrastructure construction projects are in great growth, which contribute to excavators’ sales growth.

“The sales of large excavators for mining had a rapid growth by 190.6 percent,” Zhao Yue, CCTV’s commentator said. Besides the significant growth of large excavators’ sales, the purchase demand for small and mini excavators also increased owing to urban and rural infrastructure construction. Micro diggers are widely used in various working conditions such as digging, grabbing, discharging, drilling, cutting, breaking and so on.

The “Belt and Road Initiative” contributes to the growth of overseas market demand for excavators. The increasing export demands for excavators are fueled by the constructions for high-speed railways, nuclear power stations and other infrastructure projects in Middle Asia, Middle East, South Africa and Southeast Asia.

Encouraged by the “Belt and Road Initiative”, SANY is ambitiously expanding foreign market. Its overseas business maintains 20 percent growth rate annually, accounting for 42.93 percent of SANY’s whole business.

Another reason for SANY excavators’ sales growth is the improvement of its R&D development. SANY’s excavators not only have high quality but also are equipped with advanced technologies to improve their efficiency and safety.
