SANY Heavy Industry wins Chindia Award

The 6th China India Forum was held in India’s Bangalore on November 10. SANY Heavy Industry India won the “Chindia Award” for its achievements in implementation of “Belt and Road Initiative”. This is the second time that SANY wins the award.

China India Forum is a brand project of Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and China-India Friendship Association, which has held for six sessions. Zhu Dacheng, the representative of SANY Heavy Industry India’s chairman attended the forum.

At this forum, SANY got high appraisal for its investment and cooperation in India. Since its first entry into Indian market in 2002, SANY perfectly integrated its technology, experience and production capacity with “Made in India” and its products has been sold to more than 20 countries in Middle East and Africa. At present, SANY Heavy Industry India has achieved 100 percent growth in 3 years. The market shares of truck crane and rotary drilling rig ranked No.1 in India, concrete machinery ranked No.2 and excavator ranked No.6 with annual sales volume over 1.5 billion yuan.

Deep rooted in Indian market for 16 years, SANY India has always insisted on localization not only in products but also in personnel. At present, more than 97 percent of SANY Heavy Industry India’s employees are local Indian people. Additionally, SANY Heavy Industry India has set up global training center to train marketing staff for SANY’s branch company around the world.

China India Forum is a national economy and trade forum in India, aiming at promote economic and trade development, investment cooperation and cultural exchange between China and India. Chindia Award is used for honoring the enterprise that makes remarkable contribution to the investment cooperation between China and India.
