Localization makes SANY success in India

Since its entry into Indian market in 2002, SANY has deep rooted in India for 16 years and has made many achievements in there. In 2016, SANY India’s sales volume reached 1 billion yuan. In the first quarter of this year, its sales volume hit nearly 400 million yuan, a year-on-year growth of 90 percent. SANY’s market shares of truck crane and rotary drilling rig ranked No.1 in India, along with concrete machinery ranked No.2 and excavator ranked No.6. Its annual sales volume is over 1.5 billion yuan in India.

SANY’s success in India is contributed by its localization strategy in India. SANY India has always insisted on localization not only in products but also in personnel. At present, more than 97 percent of SANY Heavy Industry India’s employees are local Indian people. Additionally, SANY Heavy India has set up global training center to train marketing staff for SANY’s branch company around the world.

SANY mini excavators bring more convenience to India

With the implementation of China’s “Belt and Road Initiative”, SANY India is actively expanding its business to India’s infrastructure construction, urban construction and the renovation of local farmlands and gardens.

The constructions in these fields require that machines should be flexible and highly efficient. To meet the needs in India market, SANY designs two specific mini excavators-SY20C and SY35U that can work in confined space with high performance.

Urban construction

SANY SY20C and SY35U adopt Yanmar customized engines that ensure reliability in various working conditions. The rotary motor makes the mini excavator flexible with fast rotating speed to easily carry out digging and trenching works in narrow space of urban areas.

Garden renovation

In the past, urban landscaping work was basically done by manpower, but the efficiency was low and the construction quality was not very good. Thanks to SANY mini excavator, it perfectly replaces manpower to do the landscaping work with high efficiency and quality.

Road construction

SANY mini excavator SY20C and SY35U can be equipped with more than 40 attachments for digging, grabbing, unloading, drilling and breaking, which can suit various working conditions in road construction.

Construction of cable projects

SANY SY20C and SY35U are small in size and equipped with retractable undercarriage and deflectable boom, making they are capable for digging trenches and laying pipes in the narrow jobsites of the cable projects construction.
