The excavator index of January to November of 2015 showed that the falls in the construction time and the rate of running machines of mobile cranes and crawler cranes have been eased. Mobile cranes have wide use in construction machinery industry, while crawler cranes are an important machine. Asphalt Pavers and rollers also had certain increase last year, showing that road and bridge construction were picking up.
SANY had a market share of more than 40% of concrete machinery. In the first 11 months of 2015, the utilization of concrete equipment dropped sharply year on year, among which batching plant decreased more than 30 percent, directly reflecting the slump of real estate market. Similarly, the operating rate and running time of large excavators for large-scale mines and coal mines also declined. When the construction rate of real estate was decreasing, some positive signs showed up.
The usages of piling machinery and road machinery were much higher than that of concrete machinery in Inner Mongolia, which means that the focus of the construction of traditional resource-based areas was being adjusted.
According to the statistics of the first 11 months of 2015, the port machinery and piling machinery were picking up because of the “Belt and Road Initiative” and the construction of high-speed rails and roads. The operating rate of reach stackers and empty container handlers were slight fluctuation, showing that the export and import were still decreasing. Driven by the “Belt and Road Initiative”, the usage of piling machinery was increasing for the construction of subways and suburban railways.
