SANY remote control excavator to play its role in rescues

On July 9, SANY remote control excavators were delivered to the rescue group of armed police traffic team in Wangcheng district, Changsha.

Disaster rescues are usually very dangerous. The remote control excavator can not only improve the efficiency but also safeguard rescuers’ safety. In the future, SANY remote control excavator will be used in complicated and dangerous disasters’ rescues.

SANY remote control excavators can be widely used in dangerous working conditions, such as earthquake relief work, toxic environment, dangerous tunnels, fire-fighting rescue, road excavation on cliff and explosion site cleanup.

The operator can control the excavator in cab or wearing VR glasses to remotely control it by controller.

SANY has successfully developed the excavator equipped with remote control stereo vision system. The mechanical digger can simulate field operation through 3D camera, servo-system, 360 degree panoramic images and audio wireless transmission. No matter where the operator is, the excavator operater can manipulate the excavator as long as he holds the remote controller and wears VR glasses. Additionally, SANY remote controlling excavator can be equipped with versatile parts and attachments, which makes the machines applicable enough to handle various constructions like digging, grabbing, discharging, drilling, cutting, breaking and so on.

The remote system is applied in SANY SY210C and SY365H mechanical diggers. It also can be used in mini excavator series including SY16C, SY35U and SY55C according to clients’ demand.
